Hannah Allen
Instructor
Hannah Allen is the Executive Director of the William Magee Institute and carries a love for all things art, theater, and comedy. She got her start in improv in 2018 with Happy Valley Improv in State College, PA and she also has experience with stand-up comedy and humor writing. She is a graduate of the Anubis Improv program, and performs regularly on Anubis Improv's flagship shows including the Armando, It Takes Two, and Half & Half.
Connor King
Instructor
Connor King is a local actor and stand-up comedian who produces a variety of shows in Oxford and Water Valley. He has multiple credits acting with Theatre Oxford and regularly performs with Anubis Improv for our flagship shows including Half & Half, The Armando, and It Takes Two. His pastimes are annoying depressed strangers at open mics and further annoying his friends at the occasional improv practice. We lovingly refer to him as the unofficial Comedian Laureate of Oxford.
Dylan Kerr
Instructor
Dylan Kerr is an Anubis Improv graduate and writer living in Oxford, MS. He's been an improviser for various Anubis Improv comedy shows since 2023. He performed with his first troupe, Flowbees and the Professor, before becoming a part of the Anubis Improv house troupe Wonton Destruction.
Alyssa P. Lee
Instructor
Alyssa (she/her) is an improviser and actor from Columbus, MS. She began performing in 2011 with the troupe Out of the Box, where she discovered a deep love for how improv brings a group together and gives a special space for open and safe creativity. Since then, she has trained extensively, completing the Anubis Improv curriculum multiple times and embracing every moment of insight and discovery it offers. Stepping into her role as an instructor, she brings over a decade of stage experience, a strong group mindset, and a, hopefully infectious, excitement for the art of being silly and making things up together.
